From Images to Results
Hybrid Conference & Onsite Workshop | Lausanne
Different image analysis tasks require different approaches in order to support your work in the best possible way.
- Data acquired by LightSheet systems require an image viewing and analysis solution that can process big data and perform scalable image analysis.
- Challenging images may demand a combination of AI and classical image analysis approaches.
- With Deep Learning approaches you will significantly reduce the time you spend on tedious image analysis tasks. Save valuable resources in your research lab for more important tasks!
Join the Hybrid Conference by arivis & ZEISS and take a deep dive into the different approaches to image analysis.
The Workshop is divided into two parts:
- Hybrid Conference including use cases and a live demonstration.
- Hands-On Sessions with the Widefield System ZEISS Axio Observer 7
We are looking forward to your participation!

AnfahrtDr. Julien Toquant
Julien did his PhD in Physics at the University of Basel with the main focus on nano-technology, scanning probe microscopy and nano-optics. He is working at ZEISS as imaging specialist since 2007. He is an expert in all topics related to software and especially in ZEN blue, ZEN core (with optional GxP), Confomap and Image Analysis (Intellesis, Apeer, Arivis Vision4D). Over the years he has developed a profound knowledge over the range of ZEISS systems and is well know at ZEISS for simply knowing (almost) everything.

Martin Canavan
Martin has an MSc in Biomedical Science from NUI Galway, Ireland. He worked in histopathology laboratories for several years before transitioning into the field of digital pathology with Leica. There, he worked in commercial and application support roles for digital pathology software before specialising in image analysis. He has been with arivis, a Zeiss company, for over one year as an application specialist where he assists customers in achieving their analysis goals using the arivis software.
