Born in Vienna in 1939; was married with Christine, is now married with Martina.
3 children; Andrea, Ines and Klaus.
Schools at Waidhofen a. d. Ybbs and in Vienna, secondary-school leaving certificate in 1958.
Medical studies at the University of Vienna, obtained degree of Doctor in medicinae universae (MD) in 1966.
Training for Doctor of Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery (DDS) at Vienna University Dental School from 1966 to 1968.

1966 | 
Till now board member of the "Zahnärztlicher Interressensverband" - ZIV. ("Dental Interests Federation") that deals with professional matters and since 1994 Referent of "Prophylaxis and Periodontology". |

1968 | 
Set up as Doctor of Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery, practitioner with contracts with all "Health Insurance Funds of Austria" until December 1985. Since then private practice.
Special fields: consultation, prevention, periodontology, miniinvasive- and micro-dentistry. |

Board member of the "Special Group for Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery" of the Vienna Medical Association. |

Intensive public relations activities (television, radio and newspaper interviews) and numerous publications aimed at creating a prevention awareness in Austria's population and a positive image of the dental profession.
Adviser of international and national companies; subject: “Future development of dental materials, instruments and units”.
All in all, a very active and satisfying professional life, which has been supported to a very great extent by my wife Christine and now by Martina
Active hobbies: Formerly: piano, cello; sports (handball, tennis, skiing and sailing)
Today: golf and skiing.
“Inactive” passions: music, theatre and opera.
